Discount policy: terms and conditions

How discounts work

1. One policy for every student. This is IMS Indore's discount policy for programmes taken at the Indore centre. It is the same for every student. No discount is given outside it.
2. One discount, the highest. If you qualify for more than one discount, only one is given: the highest. A special flat fee counts as the highest. If two are equal, the one higher in the numbered list below is given. Discounts do not add up.
3. The One-Time Payment waiver. The One-Time Payment (OTP) waiver can be given in addition to the one discount, only when the full programme fee is paid in one go at the time of enrolment, and only when that discount is 30% or less. It is not given with a discount above 30% or with a special flat fee.
4. How a discount is applied. Discounts are percentages of the programme fee, except where a special flat fee is stated. They are applied in your fee plan when you enrol. GST is charged as applicable on the fee after the discount.
5. Only at enrolment. A discount must be confirmed before your enrolment is completed. It cannot be added, changed or claimed after enrolment, and no fee is refunded or adjusted for a discount asked for later.
6. Proof. A discount that depends on your marks, category, college, qualification, past results or family is confirmed only after we have seen the documents listed for it. If any detail is found to be incorrect, during or after enrolment, that discount is withdrawn, the discount your verified documents support applies instead, and the difference in fee becomes payable.
7. Dates. A discount with dates applies only to enrolments completed within those dates, both days included. An enrolment is completed when the enrolment form is submitted and the usual first payment is received by IMS by 11:59 pm (India time) on the date. What a page or email showed you before a discount's last date does not carry on after it.
8. Group discounts. Friends who want a group discount register with us together, with each member's name and mobile number, before the first of them enrols. The group is confirmed when its first member enrols: no one can be added after that, and IMS has no way to adjust a fee after enrolment. Each member who completes enrolment within the stated days of the first member's enrolment (that day counts as day 1) gets the discount for the confirmed group. If some members do not enrol, those who did keep their discount and nothing more is asked of them. Each member counts once and can be in only one group. Members may join different programmes; Test Series and GDPI programmes are not part of group discounts.
9. Changes. IMS Indore may change this policy. The policy in force on the date your enrolment is completed applies to you.
10. Questions. For any question about a discount, please speak to the Centre Manager, IMS Indore, whose decision under this policy is final.

The discounts

If more than one applies to you, you are given the highest. If two are equal, you are given the one higher in this list.

1. Festive offer: 20% off the programme fee
   Flat 20% off on the CAT 2027 and CAT 2028 batches.
   Only for enrolments completed from 16 October 2026 to 31 October 2026, both days included.
2. Early Bird Discount: 15% off the programme fee
   When you enrol at least 15 days before your batch's start date. The start dates are the ones IMS Indore announces for each batch. If a batch's start date is moved, the moved date counts.
   Enrol at least 15 days before your batch starts.
3. CAT %ile Waiver: up to 30% off the programme fee
   Your overall percentile in CAT 2024 or CAT 2025, as printed on the official CAT scorecard (the better of the two if you took both): 80 to below 85: 15%; 85 to below 90: 20%; 90 to below 95: 25%; 95 and above: 30%. Percentiles are not rounded up. Other exams (IPMAT, XAT and others) and other years do not count.

4. National Scholarship Test (NST): up to 75% off the programme fee
   The scholarship percentage stated on your IMS National Scholarship Test (NST) result, up to 75%, on the programmes IMS applies it to (for the CAT NST: all CAT programmes), and within any validity the result states. We check the result against IMS's records.

5. College Waiver: a special flat fee or a fixed % off the programme fee, by college (listed below)
   For students whose final degree year is 2025 to 2028, at a college listed here, on regular CAT programmes (not Test Series or GDPI programmes). Elite colleges, the CAT programme at a flat fee of Rs 10,000: IIT Indore; IIM Indore (IPM); SGSITS, Indore; IET, DAVV, Indore; MANIT (NIT), Bhopal; IIIT Bhopal; IIITDM Jabalpur; ABV-IIITM Gwalior; IISER Bhopal; Any other IIT; Any other NIT; BITS (an Indian campus); IIIT Allahabad; IIIT Bangalore; IIIT Hyderabad; IIIT Lucknow; IIM Bodhgaya, Jammu, Ranchi or Rohtak (IPM); Jadavpur University; IIEST Shibpur; COEP Pune; ICT Mumbai; VJTI Mumbai; SPIT Mumbai; DTU; NSUT Delhi; PEC Chandigarh; SRCC Delhi; St. Stephen's College; Miranda House; Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies; St. Xavier's College, Mumbai; St. Xavier's College, Kolkata; College of Engineering Guindy; CET Trivandrum. For any other college, the rest of this policy applies as it does to every student.
   Documents: marksheet or bonafide certificate showing your college and final degree year.
6. Elite Student Waiver: 50% off the programme fee
   If you have completed all levels of CA, CFA, CS or CMA (ICWA), or completed an MBBS, BAMS, BDS or BHMS degree.
   Documents: final certificate.
7. Academic Merit Waiver: up to 30% off the programme fee
   Based on the lowest of every level you have studied (10th, 12th, and graduation or postgraduation if you have started it), using the all-subjects aggregate printed on each marksheet: 75 to below 80: 10%; 80 to below 85: 15%; 85 to below 90: 20%; 90 and above: 30%. If you have started graduation, your aggregate so far counts and must be shown. CGPA counts only where the marksheet states how to convert it; otherwise that level cannot be used and the waiver is not given. Percentages are not rounded up.
   Documents: the marksheets of every level studied.
8. Early Starter Discount: up to 20% off the programme fee
   When you enrol well ahead of the exam your programme prepares you for, counted in calendar months from the month you enrol to the month of the exam (CAT: November; IPMAT: May; CMAT: January). Example: enrolling in November 2026 for CAT in November 2028 is 24 months. 18 months to below 24 months: 15%; 24 months and above: 20%.
9. Loyalty Scholarship: 60% off the programme fee
   If you were enrolled earlier in an IMS classroom or live online programme, at any IMS centre (checked against IMS records: give your IMS PIN if you studied at another centre). Test series and other non-classroom products do not count.
10. IMS Family Scholarship: 30% off the programme fee
    If your brother or sister (same parent) is or was an IMS student. We need their IMS PIN and a document showing the same parent.
    Documents: the sibling's IMS PIN and a document showing the same parent.
11. Group Discount (4 or more): 15% off the programme fee
    For a group of 4 or more friends, counting yourself, who register with us together (each member's name and mobile) before the first of you enrols. The group is confirmed when the first member enrols and cannot change after that. Each member who completes enrolment within 7 days of the first member's enrolment (that day counts as day 1) gets this discount. Members may join different programmes; Test Series and GDPI programmes are not part of group discounts.
    Each member must complete enrolment within 7 days of the first member's enrolment; the group is fixed when the first member enrols.
12. Group Discount (3 friends): 10% off the programme fee
    For a group of 3 friends, counting yourself, who register with us together (each member's name and mobile) before the first of you enrols. The group is confirmed when the first member enrols and cannot change after that. Each member who completes enrolment within 7 days of the first member's enrolment (that day counts as day 1) gets this discount. Members may join different programmes; Test Series and GDPI programmes are not part of group discounts.

13. Group Discount (2 friends): 5% off the programme fee
    For a group of 2 friends, counting yourself, who register with us together (each member's name and mobile) before the first of you enrols. The group is confirmed when the first member enrols and cannot change after that. Each member who completes enrolment within 7 days of the first member's enrolment (that day counts as day 1) gets this discount. Members may join different programmes; Test Series and GDPI programmes are not part of group discounts.

14. Channel Partner Discount: 5% off the programme fee
    If you first came to us through one of IMS Indore's channel partners, as recorded at your first contact.
15. Working Professional Scholarship: 5% off the programme fee
    If you have 24 months or more of full-time work experience.
    Documents: experience letter.
16. Women's Scholarship: 5% off the programme fee
    For women students.
    Documents: ID proof.
17. Category Waiver (PwD): 30% off the programme fee
    For persons with a disability, with a certificate of the kind accepted for CAT.
    Documents: a disability certificate of the kind accepted for CAT.
18. Category Waiver (SC/ST): 20% off the programme fee
    For SC and ST students, with a valid caste certificate.
    Documents: a valid caste certificate.
19. Category Waiver (OBC/EWS): 10% off the programme fee
    For OBC (non-creamy layer) and EWS students, with an OBC-NCL or EWS certificate valid for the current year.
    Documents: OBC-NCL or EWS certificate valid for the current year.

In addition to one discount of 30% or less
